Trump, aided by his GOP, is putting this country on a collision course with a military coup or an armed citizen uprising. The Constitution gives SCOTUS final say on what is, and is not, constitutional. Trump, Congress, and even the American people might not like it, but that is the way it is unless and until the Constitution is changed. Our nation is built on the Constitution. Our nation IS the Constitution.
The Constitution required Trump to swear an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. It required every US Executive Officer, every member of the US Congress, every state governor, every state Executive Officer, and every member of a state legislature to swear to support the Constitution. None of those oaths include a duty to the President. Should Trump ignore SCOTUS, he is breaking his oath and violating the Constitution. If he did so, would he not be an enemy of this nation? And what greater "high crimes and misdemeanors" would be needed for Congress to exercise its power and responsibility and impeach, convict and remove such a President? Any failure to do would mean Congress is supporting that enemy. Individual congresspersons who vote against such action would be in violation of their oath and would themselves be enemies of this nation. US Executive Officers have limited power to remove Trump under the 25th Amendment that would be very questionable under these circumstances. However, their continued support for Trump would be a violation of their oath and would render themselves as enemies of this nation.
State governors have the power to call out their National Guard to remove Trump from office. Failure to do would be a violation of their oath rendering them as enemies of this nation. Any action by state Executive officers or state legislatures in support of the President would be a violation of their oath and would render them enemies of this nation.
Those who attempt to remove the President by force are not committing treason or sedition because those are crimes against our government and a President is not our government. Our government is that which is enshrined in the Constitution - not in the minds of power-seeking individuals. It is all those who violate their oath to support and defend the Constitution by either failing to take action or supporting Trump who should be charged with treason and/or sedition.
US military officers swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution without a duty to the President (though that oath is not required by the Constitution). These military officers should either join with National Guard units or take action of their own volition to remove Trump from office. Failure to do so would be a violation of their oath and render them as enemies of this nation.
If every step cited above fails, then American citizens should take up arms against the President as was done in 1776 against the British Crown. As enunciated in the Declaration of Independence, such action then was to abolish a tyrannical government and establish a new one for the purpose of attaining Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Then it was a revolution. Today it would be defending the very government that the American people established almost 250 years ago from those who are attempting to overthrow it.
